Calculation of Chilled Water Usage Rate
Usage Charge = Metered quantities of Supply in units of kilowatt-hours refrigeration (kWrh) x prevailing consumption Usage Charge Rate1 ($/kWrh)
1“Usage Charge Rate” is the prevailing dollar per kilowatt-hours refrigeration (kWrh) of Supply or $/kWrh rate and will reflect the capital costs for the chiller plant and network pipes, operations and maintenance, projected cooling energy consumption, the prevailing residential electricity energy charge in S$ per kWh (excluding GST) as published quarterly on https://www.spgroup.com.sg, the prevailing domestic potable water prices, water borne fees, water consumption taxes as published on the PUB website, and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published by the Department of Statistics, Singapore.
